The final scheduled GCSE exam for Year 11 students is on Wednesday 18 June. However, parents/carers should be aware that Wednesday 25 June has been designated as a national exam contingency day.
This day is held in reserve by all exam boards in case any exams need to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as national or local disruptions. Students must remain available up to and including this date, even if they have completed all their scheduled exams, to ensure they can attend any rescheduled papers if required.
