Year 11: Locked In: The Final 8

This week we launched our Year 11 countdown assembly series, Locked In: The Final 8, marking the eight weeks remaining until GCSE examinations begin.

Students were reminded that this period can make the difference between 'I wish I had…' and 'I’m proud that I did...”. With around 200 lessons still to come, every session counts.

The focus was on disciplined, active revision; practice questions, past papers, self-testing and acting on feedback - alongside strong attendance, consistent completion of home learning (including SPARX, Maths half-papers and English essays), and the importance of sleep and exercise.

Most importantly, students were challenged to take personal responsibility for the daily choices they make over the next eight weeks.
