PSHE
PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic) education is delivered in one-hour lessons every two weeks. Elements of the curriculum are also delivered as part of the school tutor programme and the assembly programme.
Our vision is to create healthy, informed, ambitious and engaged citizens.
The PSHE curriculum is planned with reference to the Relationships and Sex Education statutory guidance, the British Values, our own school values and the Fundamental British Values (FBV).
Our PSHE curriculum is divided into three units: Health and Wellbeing, RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) and Living in the Wider World. Our curriculum is designed to be a spiral curriculum with certain important topics to be revisited in age-appropriate ways.
Careers education is delivered in term 5 as part of the Living in the Wider World unit and is informed the Gatsby benchmarks.
