Clubs and Activities at Plymstock School

There is something for everyone in Plymstock School's exciting programme of clubs and activities. Whether your child enjoys sport, reading, performing, creativity, technology, science or simply spending time with friends who share their interests, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the week.

Students can choose from a wide range of activities including football, badminton, basketball, netball, trampolining, fitness sessions and squash, as well as Drama Club, Musicals Club and National Theatre Connections for those who love performing arts. For students with creative interests, there are opportunities to join Creative Writing Club, Comic Club, Newspaper Club and Chess Club.

Academic and enrichment opportunities include Computing Club, Year 7 Science Club, Homework Club, Book Club, Library Club and Design Technology Workshop. Students can also take part in Dungeons & Dragons and enjoy support and community through groups such as the Young Carers Support Group and LGBTQ+ Lunch Group.

We encourage every student to take part in at least one club each term. Clubs are a fantastic way to develop new skills, build confidence, make new friends and enhance the school experience beyond the classroom. If there is an activity that is not currently available, students are encouraged to share their ideas, as we are always keen to explore new opportunities.

At Plymstock School, we are proud to offer a diverse enrichment programme that helps every student find something they enjoy and feel part of our wider school community.
