Raising a concern

Ofsted inspectors wrote in 2009 that ‘students’ personal development and well-being are outstanding’. We strive to keep to that standard.  Nevertheless there are occasions when parents have concerns about the education or welfare of their son or daughter.

Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Tutor with any worries that you might have either by using the planner or making an appointment to speak to them by phoning 01752 402679 or emailing the school at info@plymstockschool.org.uk

Subject teachers or any other member of staff can be alerted to your concerns by following the procedures set out on the ’Communicating with Plymstock School’ page in the parent section of the website.

Making a complaint

Details of the Complaints Procedure are available directly from the school or via the ‘School Policies’ page on the school website.

Normally, parents who have a serious concern should contact the Headteacher, Mr Farmer, where that concern will be dealt with speedily and with respect and courtesy.

All correspondence will be acknowledged and where a more detailed response is required, we shall endeavour to answer within three working days.
