The Learning Support Department exists to provide access additional to and different from the usual routes to the curriculum, physical and academic, at Plymstock School.
Who do we support?
Children who may have:
- Dyslexia
- Physical needs
- ADHD
- Hearing impairment
- Literacy difficulties
- Broken education
- Numeracy difficulties
- Visual impairment
- Syndromes
- English as an additional language
- Autistic spectrum
- Medical needs
- Dyspraxia
Why?
To enable all children to achieve everything they can from what is on offer at Plymstock School.

Our extended service:
8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday
8.00 am – 3.30 pm Friday
Our Learning Support base is staffed throughout the day for help with homework or access to advice.

- Lunch-Bunch – guided social lunch group in addition to homework club
- Somewhere to come and make new friends
